Explosion propagation instant shut-off equipment ATEX instant shut-off valve QSV
Driven only by air pressure and solenoid valves without using explosives ignition devices or burst panels! Manual and remote operation and recovery testing are possible!
**Overview** The control panel that receives the explosion detection signal drives the electromagnetic valve to block the propagation of flames through the duct. The ATEX instant shut-off valve QSV only uses the control air from the factory instrumentation to achieve pneumatic control for shutting off. It is installed horizontally or at the bottom at a location approximately 2 to 7 meters away from the explosion source (for DN200). **Features** - There is virtually no pressure loss during operation, making it effective against explosion propagation from both directions in the duct. - It draws in factory instrumentation air and maintains the operating pressure with a pressure storage tank. - There are no replacement parts required during operational recovery. - By adopting an air cushion stop mechanism, practical operational tests can be repeatedly conducted with a push button. - Maintenance allows for easy measurement of actual operation, and the closing time (in milliseconds) can be measured using a position switch. - Air purging can be added during valve storage.
